Dry powder fire extinguisher use range

How to use and precautions:

1. When the portable dry powder fire extinguisher is used, one is to pull the pull ring, and the other is to press the pressure handle, and then the dry powder is sprayed out. However, it should be noted that the insurance pin must be unplugged first, otherwise no dry powder will be ejected.

2. The portable dry powder fire extinguisher has a short injection time, so the nozzle should be opened only after the powder hose is aligned with the flame before use. The portable dry powder fire extinguisher has a short jetting distance, so the operator should be as close as possible to the fire source when using it. It is necessary to select a fire extinguisher of the appropriate size according to the combustion range. If the combustion range is large and the size of the fire extinguisher is small, it will be discarded.

3. The portable dry powder fire extinguisher does not need to be used upside down, but if the cylinder is turned upside down several times before use, the dry powder will be loosened and the spray effect will be better.

4. Dry powder injection has no concentrated jet, and it is easy to spread after spraying, so when spraying, the operator should stand in the upwind direction of the fire source.

5. The dry powder fire extinguisher can't spray against the flame from above, but should respond to the root of the flame, from near to far, push forward, sweep left and right, and let the flames go back.

6. When fighting a liquid fire, because the dry powder fire extinguisher has a large impact force, the dry powder should not be directly impacted on the liquid surface to prevent the burning liquid from splashing out and expanding the fire.

7. Dry powder fire extinguishers are valid for 3-5 years under normal conditions, but should be inspected once a year.

8. The dry powder fire extinguisher should be placed in a convenient, ventilated, cool and dry place to prevent the cylinder from getting wet and dry powder agglomerated. Dry powder fire extinguishers should not be exposed to high temperatures, should not be exposed to sunlight, or placed below temperatures below -10 degrees Celsius.

9. Once the dry powder fire extinguisher is used to open the valve, it should be refilled and replaced if it is used up.
